Dr. Kevin Henner had just completed his term as president of the New York State Dental Association. He'd served as chairman of the ADA's council on ethics, bylaws and judicial affairs. Dr. Dave wrestled competitively from eight years old through college. Wrestling taught him what it takes to be great and the discipline and persistence to get there and he applied that to his career in dentistry.
He was chosen as Chief Resident at Stony Brook University Hospital during his GPR residency and has now accumulated over 500 hours of advanced continuing education. Before starting Long Island Dental Wellness alongside his wife Michelle, he invested more than $100,000 in training beyond dental school. He completed the full graduate curriculum at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle known as the most rigorous evidence-based training program in dentistry, where fewer than 700 dentists on earth have completed it.
He is currently the only Kois Center Graduate on Long Island, and a BioClear certified dentist, trained directly by Dr. David Clark, the inventor of the BioClear method. And everywhere he worked and trained, he documented every case. Every technique. Every outcome.
