Snoring & Sleep Apnea Care in Deer Park, NY

Snoring Is a Symptom.
Find Out What Your Airway Does All Night.

Screening built into every exam, and custom oral appliance therapy for snoring and diagnosed sleep apnea. Quieter nights, real oxygen, and for many patients, no mask required.

Why Snoring Deserves an Exam

The loudest problem in the bedroom often starts in the mouth.

Snoring is the sound of an airway narrowing. And the mouth keeps the evidence: teeth ground flat at night, morning headaches, a jaw that aches at breakfast, waking up more tired than you went to bed. Untreated sleep apnea is linked to blood pressure, heart strain, and the kind of daytime exhaustion people wrongly blame on age.

Here is what most people are never told: diagnosis is medical, but for many patients the treatment can be dental. A custom-fitted oral appliance holds the lower jaw gently forward while you sleep, keeping the airway open, without a mask, a hose, or a machine on the nightstand.

Proof Before Treatment

How the Proof Protocol™ applies to snoring and sleep apnea

Airway screening is built into the Proof Protocol™, because your teeth talk about your nights whether you do or not.

  • Wear-pattern and grinding review, the nighttime evidence most exams skip
  • Jaw position and TMJ analysis, because any appliance must respect the joint
  • Airway-focused screening: the oral signs plus the questions nobody asked you
  • Physician and sleep-study coordination when the signs point that way
“Half the worn-down mouths I see were ground flat at night by an airway problem nobody ever asked about.” Dr. Dave Broughton
What to Expect

From loud nights to quiet ones

Screen

Your Wellness Exam flags the airway signs: wear, jaw position, tongue posture, and your own answers about sleep and energy.

Confirm

Sleep apnea is diagnosed by a physician with a sleep study, often done at home. We coordinate the whole handoff for you.

Treat

A custom oral appliance, fitted and adjusted to hold your airway open comfortably. Then follow-ups to make sure it is actually working.

Proof, Not Promises

Judge us by the results.

The success metric sleeps next to you.

Appliance patients do not measure results in millimeters. They measure them in silent bedrooms, in mornings that feel like mornings, and in the grinding damage that finally stops accumulating. Many of the worn-down smiles rebuilt in our gallery began as untreated airway problems.

“What an incredible experience from check in to check out.”

Straight Answers

Fair questions, answered plainly.

“Do I have to use a CPAP machine?”

Not necessarily. CPAP remains the gold standard for many patients, and for some it is the right answer. But for primary snoring and many mild to moderate apnea cases, a physician-approved custom oral appliance can be the treatment, and for CPAP-intolerant patients it is often the alternative that finally gets worn every night. Your physician makes the diagnosis; we make the appliance work.

“Is this covered by insurance?”

Often, and here is the surprise: oral appliance therapy for diagnosed sleep apnea is frequently a MEDICAL insurance matter, not dental. Donna or Jennifer will help you sort out an accurate estimate before anything begins.

“I just snore. Is that really worth a visit?”

Yes, for two reasons. Snoring without apnea still wrecks sleep quality for two people. And snoring with undiagnosed apnea is a health problem wearing a funny costume. The screening tells you which one you have; it is already part of your Wellness Exam.
